Graham advances to IHSA state competition in discus

The Pleasant Hill Wolves Track and Field team competed in the Class 1A Sectional track meet in Rushville on Friday, May 22. The team competed against 19 schools.
Sophomore Corey Graham took home first place in the discus competition and will be the only member of the Pleasant Hill boys track team to compete at the state meet in Charleston on Thursday, May 28.


Wolves sprinters, Brian Black and Jacob Garrison placed third and fourth respectively in their 100 dash heats, but failed to qualify for state. The 4x100 meter and the 4x200 meter relay teams of Black, Graham, Noah Gregurich and Garrison, ran first in their heat and finished with sixth place medals in both events. Graham and Garrison also ran the 200 meter dash but failed to qualify in their heats.
