What is your most memorable moment during your teaching career: My most memorable moment was when I was coaching basketball & softball, while 9 months pregnant with my son. I was riding a bike while the s were running. Two students stopped in front of me and I flipped over the handle bars, and I had my son 3 days later. Then when I was pregnant with my daughter, a player from the opposing team was doing batting practice and not paying attention and she swung and hit me in the stomach. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant.

What is your most embarrassing moment during your teaching career: I don't usually get embarrassed. However, I have had moments during our many conversations in Health and Business classes. I usually mean one thing, but it gets turned around!

What do you like to do in your past time: Scrapbooking, photography, cake decorating, playing sports, spending time outdoors, and selling Pampered Chef.

What inspired you to be a teacher: My teachers... Mrs. Graham, Mr. Horn, and Mrs. Lowe. I liked P.E. and Health when I was in school and loved sports, so it was a perfect fit.

What is the most rewarding thing about being a teacher: For school, it is seeing kids excel by learning a new sport skill or finding the activity they enjoy. For family, it is great to have time to spend with my kids on vacation days and during the summer.
