New Teachers at the Grade School

We have some new teachers in the grade school this year. The first new teacher we have teaches the Kindergarten, her name is Daloris Picone. She has replaced Elizabeth Schlepphorst. Mrs. Picone taught last year in Bowling Green, MO, and this is her second year of teaching. Mrs. Picone says that, “She loves Kindergarten!” The next teacher is Brianna Laugesen, and she replaced Kylee Klaas. Last year, she was teaching at Peoria Richwoods as a teacher's aide in the high school. She says this is her first year of teaching at Pleasant Hill! The third new teacher is Jacque Penstone she replaced Cathy Welch. Last year, she was substituting at Pittsfield and here. She has taught for 13 years. The last new teacher here at Pleasant Hill Elementary is Micheal Jandt, he is the new band teacher. Last year, he was a substitute in the suburbs of Chicago. This will be his first full year of teaching!
