Pleasant Hill vs. West Central (Winchester)
by Blake Smith and Alex Rodhouse
October 06, 2008
Saturday afternoon the Pleasant Hill Western Wolves heavyweights played the West Central football team from Winchester. The Wolves pulled off the win over West Central because of the running gain and wonderful blocking from the offensive line. Early in the first quarter, the Wolves quarterback, Alex Rodhouse, went out with an injury to his back. The second string quarterback Kyle Smith had to play quarterback for the rest of the game. The linebackers Blake Smith, Keenan Latham, and Kyle Smith did a great job with tackling and containing their men. Boe Smith and Kendrick Hill did a great job at stopping the sweeps. The defensive line did an incredible job on getting in the backfield. The final score of the game was 34 to12, Pleasant Hill. This win put the Wolves in the playoffs that will take place in Winchester 10/11/08!
