Lady Wolves drop to West Central

The Lady Wolves played fell to the West Central Lady Cougars 61-24 this week in what was certainly more of a battle on the court than it appeared to be in the record books. Macey Black led the scoring for the Lady Wolves with 10 points. Alexis Damon and Madison Black each chipped in six points followed by Paige Allen with one bucket.
Although there were no Lady Wolves fouling out of this game, the game was extremely physical. Although there was only scoring by the seniors on the team, sophomores Janessa Edwards and Kara Law keep the ball moving while freshmen Payton McKinnon and Lindsey Turner each received playing time that will become more valuable as the season progresses.
The Lady Wolves will travel to Brussels on Jan. 8th and then compete in the North Greene Lady Spartan Tournament on Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. in the old gym.
