For Halloween this year, Miss Wilson’s 5th grade class painted pumpkins!
When asked about the activity, Miss Wilson said:
“It was an activity where we could get messy and learn about color combinations at the same time. We used a variety of painting techniques accomplished by using different size brushes and mediums, such as glitter to create texture and sparkle. There weren’t two pumpkins alike, they were all creative and colorful. The designs exceeded my expectations. It was even more messy than I expected too! There was more glitter on the floor than there was on the all the pumpkins combined! Ed was cleaning up glitter for over a month!!”
Well, according to Miss Wilson and her class, the project was extremely fun and messy! All the pumpkins turned out looking great and very colorful!!
