2nd Graders perform Stone Soup

Mrs. Zarello’s 2nd grade class put on a play called Stone Soup for their parents and other classes. This play came from their reading books, and is a more modern version of the old tale. It is also a lesson in sharing, as everyone shares their ingredients the stranger (Derrick Henderson) puts together a delightful pot of stone soup that everyone shares. After the play the students recited together a poem called “Spaghetti, Spaghetti”. Over all it was a great performance.
