2009 Girls' All-Star Classic Game

Senior Macey Black was one of ten chosen seniors from the South to play in the Third Annual Westown Ford Girls' All-Star Classic Game, which was held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at IC's Bruner Fitness Center in Jacksonville.
Black's nine other teammates (in white) are Ashley King (WFNB), Olivia Walker (Greenfield), Kate Mansfield (Greenfield), Paige Vinyard (Greenfield), Ambria Hull (North Green), Cassie Ferguson (Pittsfield), Keri Lietz (West Central), McKea Fisher (West Central) and Lisa Eilerman (Calhoun).
They were coached by Greenfield's head coach Kristen Theivagt. the game went back and forth all night with the south leading by 32-30 at the half. Upon the second half their coach switched the teams up pulling together their post players for one team and for what the girls called it, the speed team on the other. The game ended with the South ahead 16 points with a win of 66-50. This was the first time the South had won a game but it was also the most points any all-star team had won by. Black ended the game with 9 points.
