On Tuesday April 7th the Pleasant Hill first graders celebrated Easter with a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt. Before going out to search for the eggs, Mrs. K told them that she had been told that the Easter Bunny had been seen hiding eggs for them. Each student got 6 eggs each with their names on them. But, the first graders weren’t the only ones hunting for eggs. The hunt was during 7th hour which is the time when 7th and 8th graders get to tutor. The first grade tutor, Shelby Butricks, got to go on the hunt with them! She also had to find 6 eggs with “Miss Shelby” on them. But, she needed some help so the first graders helped her find her eggs as well as each others. All of the kids in the class and Miss Shelby had a wonderful time helping each other find the eggs and then enjoying the Jelly Beans inside when they were finished.
