Last night the baseball boys played against Unity at home. After the first inning the score was 6-0 with Unity ahead. After that the starting pitcher Brian Black put the lockdown on the mustangs. The Wolves turned on the offense after the first inning scoring fourteen more runs for the rest of the game. Evan Borrowman led the Wolves with two home runs, while Dylan McKinnon added a grand slam. Brian Black also helped out the team by hitting a two run homerun in the fifth inning.
The Mustangs started hitting the ball in the later parts of the game getting Unity to only one run behind the Wolves. Macey Black was very impressed with the baseball game. “The boys did a really good job it was pretty amazing how they came back from a 0-6 score and won the game by 1.” The Wolves entered the seventh inning ahead by one run in a 15-14 game. Noah Gregurich came pitched in the last inning striking out all three batters, ending the game for the Wolves with a score of 15-14.
