The 2nd Grade class celebrated Cinco De Mayo (May 5th) today in class. The kids got the chance to bring in things that went with the holiday or Mexican culture like Sombreros, Mexican Dolls, glasses and more. They ate Nachos and Cheese, Cookies, and play games. One of the games was a game on information on the holiday and two very lucky girls got to win special prizes. There was also a riddle told to the class by Lakin, “What do you call cheese that is not yours? ….Nacho Cheese!” All together it looked like the class had a very fun time!
