Seniors at Cocoa Beach

Seniors enjoyed an awesome day at Cocoa Beach. Everyone boarded the charter bus at 9 a.m. for an hour trip to the beach. Once parked many students ran into the cold water. At that time, PHHS seniors were one of the few groups on the beach. By mid-day that had changed as the beach filled and the water warmed along with the temperatures. Temperatures were in the mid - 80's with a light breeze throughout the day. Seniors enjoyed swimming in the ocean, throwing Frisbees, building a sand castle, laying out, and shopping on the boardwalk with the main point of interest being Ron Jon Surf Shop. The repetitive words of "I never want to leave here" was heard over and over. One senior said, "I thought going to the beach was going to be horrible, but actually I'm having a great time."
