Another year is gone and a new one upon us. 2012 is here! Our holiday break is over and about half the school year. As of Jan 4th, we have 100 days of school left to complete.

The weather in Western Illinois has been unseasonably warm so far in Jan. It surely will change soon. If and when the Jan./Feb. snow starts to fly, please remember to dress accordingly. It is always a good idea to dress in layers and wear a coat as it may be cold outside, but warm in the buildings. Also, tune into WBBA, KJFM, KHQA, or WGEM for any school closings. Furthermore, be sure your contact information is updated with the office as we also have a calling system in the event that school is cancelled.

Semester exams will soon be given at the high school. If a student has missed 8 or less hours of school and maintains a passing grade, they are exempt from semester exams in that class. If the class is a weighted class, exams must be taken. The grade school and junior high will follow regular schedule during semester exams. The following is the high school semester exam schedule.
