The boys have started their season after a month of rigorous practicing. The first home game of the year was last Tuesday, December 2nd. They played North Greene and lost both Varsity and Junior Varsity, but it was an excellent game to watch. There was no shortage of excitement in the gym. From the Varsity cheerleaders to the young cheerleaders-to-be to the parents of the players, the room was filled with spirit.
The team this year is coached by Mr. Blake Skillman and features one senior, Kyle Mowen. Mowen is currently out with a neck injury he sustained during football season but says he is more than ready to get back on the court. Until then, the rest of the team continues to practice and put their talent to use in the games this year.
