2016 Homecoming Week Activities
The 2016 Homecoming candidates and attendants have been chosen by their respective classes. High school students will each cast a vote for their favorite candidate to see who will be crowned Homecoming King & Queen at the traditional bonfire to be held on Thurs. night Sep. 29th following the High School Girls home volleyball game. The bonfire is expected to begin at approximatey 8 p.m.
Also at the bonfire, classes will compete for the spirit stick based upon teamwork, unity, participation and loudness.
The Homecoming parade will take place at 2 p.m. on Fri. Sep. 30th starting at the high school and continuing down Highway 96 before turning at the 4-way stop and heading towards the grade school. The class skits and pep rally will conclude the day.
That evening, the Homecoming court will be announced at 7 p.m. on the football field prior to the Homecoming game against West Central that begins at 7:30 p.m.
Homecoming week will come to a close on Saturday 7-9 p.m. with the dance in the small gym. Cost for the dance is $3 single or $5 for a couple. The School Photographer will be taking professional pictures from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Personal pictures may also be taken in the small gym prior to the coronation that will begin at 7 p.m.
