COVID-19 Update Regarding Region 3 Mitigation Efforts

The COVID-19 mitigation efforts that are being put in place for Region 3 on Sunday, November 1 do not apply to schools.

Pleasant Hill CUSD #3 will continue to operate as we have been; in-person classes will continue for those choosing or who are eligible for in-person learning. We will also continue our 1:30 dismissals with no change in dismissal procedures. As a reminder, all 1:00 school-improvement dismissals have been canceled until further notice. This is in an effort to keep kids in classrooms as long as possible and to keep students in a predictable routine.

As you all know, circumstances can change quickly. We will continue our mitigation efforts at the school which include smaller class sizes, social distancing, lunch in classrooms, frequent hand-washing, wearing masks, and screening for symptoms, because we want to keep our students in the school building as long as we can! We know students are more successful and happier when interacting with their teachers and peers.

As we take precautions at the school, we ask you to also take precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing masks, social distancing, and staying home when you are sick.
