HOBBIES: spending time with my family and traveling

PETS: Rosie, the indoor cat and Bugs, the outdoor cat.  They are not actually my cats.  They are cats that my kids have drug home and I inherited them.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A TEACHER? I have always loved being a student.  My third grade teacher, Mrs. Taake, inspired my love of learning by her bubbly, positive attitude.  I originally decided to go into the medical field after high school, however, changed my major to education after a lot of soul searching.

GOAL AS A TEACHER:  I want to instill my love of learning to my students.   I want my students to grow and leave my class a strong, responsible student.

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU:  I have 28 nieces/nephew and 7 great nieces/nephews.
