Holiday Season Food Drives

    As per tradition, the holiday season food drives have begun. The FFA has started collecting nonperishables for the Food Pantry and Student Council has started something new. Tracy Harrison started the Backpack Program a few years back to send food home with kids who don't have enough to eat. Every week she stuffs plastic sacks with food, sorts them into totes based on age groups, and distributes them to the children. But this year, Student Council has dedicated their annual service project to helping Tracy with her Backpack Program. This is Halloween!

Spirit Week Wrap-Up

    Even though classes have resumed, everyone still giggles about this year's Homecoming and the crazy things that happened that week.     Seniors kept the lead all five days during Spirit Week because of their high percentage of participation.  Other classes shuffled around between the last three placements.  This year, the Bonfire was held indoors due to nasty weather with no fire and minimal running.  Senior participation in the Bonfire reached an all time low for . . . read more
