Senior girls win tug-o-war

PHHS Student Council Christmas Party

January 09, 2009

PHHS came back from winter break looking forward to their Christmas Party which was postponed due to a snow day on the last day of school for 2008. The PHHS student council sponsored the event for the entire high school student body and its faculty. There were no wall decorations or Santa games this year but there was plenty of fun playing Twister, doing the orange dance and competing for the coveted Tug-O-War championship.

Junior John Webster dominated the Twister event for a second year in a row. This year he defeated Payton McKinnon, a freshman, for the Twister Title. Senior Kyle Johnson and sophomore Nathan Hirst won the orange dance with showing their agility and creative dance moves while holding the orange between their faces.

The senior boys, as well as, the senior girls took home top honors in the tug-o-war competition. Student Council president Jacob Kinne emceed the event. Mr. Edwards was the recipient of the FFA "Pie In Your Face" fund-raiser. Edwards was pied by high school secretary Dana Lanter who was a runner up in the competition. (See Pie In Your Face on our website. for more photos from that event.)
