The Class of 2013 had their 8th grade promotion Tuesday night in the large gym at PHHS. Twenty-four members were promoted to high school. They include the following students: Austin Bachelor, Samantha Black, Leah Cathorall, Whitney Crowder, Braden Damon, Tabby Dempsey, Jessie Duggins, Lindsey Grammer, David Harrison, Jr., Kendrick Hill, William Johnson, Tyler McDonald, Audra Rascher, Aaron Rodhouse, Colton Ruble, Deseree Smith, Kenny Turnbaugh, Hunter Turner, Kendra Westfall, Zack White, Brandon Whitlock, Kaitlyn Whitlock, Austin Wilfong, Autumn Wilfong.
The following students received dubious awards:
The Board Award: Autumn Wilfong, Kendra Westfall and Austin Bachelor
The Most Talkative Award: Braden Damon, Austin Bachelor, and Kendra Westfall
The Biggest Pest Award: Braden Damon, Austin Bachelor and Tabby Dempsey
The Noisiest Award: Kendra Westfall and Austin Bachelor

The Citizenship Award: Deseree Smith and William Johnson
