If you haven't made plans for this weekend, you need to mark your calendars for this Friday and Saturday, March 20 & 21. This year's Showcase 2009 features a lot of cute skits and antics along with some great songs from seasoned performers and newcomers.
If you like John Webster's comedic performances last year, then you don't want to miss this year's show. Webster teams up with sidekick, Evan Borrowman for some hilarious comedic routines, as well as some awesome musical performances!
The seasoned senior girls will wow your socks off with "Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimme" from Mama Mia. Lindsey Rouse, Alexis Damon, Jessie Johnson and Macey Black team up for a very harmonious and nicely choreographed performance.
Damon also does a very soulful version of "When God Fearin' Women Get The Blues!" Another senior whose performance is grand is Jessie Johnson who solos "Let's Give Them Something To Talk About". After watching this show, you'll be talking about it on the ride home!
The sophomore girls do their version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" dressed in cute pajamas and smiles to last a mile! Freshmen, Lindsey Turner and Sarah Mowen take the Showcase stage for the first time singing "Too Late To Worry."
Speaking of sophomores...sophomore Kaitee Bailey's voice is sure to leave you asking for more as you hear her version of "Flat On The Floor".
Juniors Ami Davis, Bethanie Pulliam and senior Macey Black are looking for their Romeo as they perform Taylor Swift's "Love Story". Dressed in their western attire, this trio is sure to find their cowboy soon!
Greg Shonhart takes the showcase stage for the first time this year as the junior does an amazing job with "Breakaway".
The show includes several solo acts from the following: Megan Wells, Molly Turnbaugh, Kristina Buffington, Jessie Johnson, Alexis Damon, John Webster and Kaitee Bailey.
