2009 After-Prom was a big hit!

The students at PHHS would like to say a big "Thank You" to the parents and community members who made the 2009 After-Prom party such a big success. All the students enjoyed the wonderful prizes that were made available to us by generous donations from local businesses and individuals, as well as the Pike County D.A.R.E. program.
As students, we appreciate the opportunity to be provided with a safe "after-prom" environment where we can have a great time with our friends and enjoy the company of our families too while trying to win such awesome prizes!
This year's after-prom stayed with tradition of many of the previous after-proms in being a "Vegas-style" night where students had the opportunity to play games to earn money which could later be used to purchase prizes auctioned off by Ken Renoud, a local auctioneer, who has been associated with after-prom for many years. We want to thank him and his wife, Dorothy, for their services and dedication to the event.
Also, thanks to all the parents who brought food for us to enjoy during this event. We will be providing a list of all the vendors and individuals who helped make this event successful. Watch the website for more information concerning after-prom.
