High School

Mountains, haunted houses and moving theatres...what more could you ask for?

by Leah Guthrie

May 02, 2009

The only day the senior trip experienced rain was on Saturday morning, the day we were scheduled to go tour the Smokey Mountains. Even though it was raining, we went ahead with the tour. We visited the Smokey National Park tourist and visitors center, the top of the mountain, and got a road tour and history of Dolly Pardon and were shown were her family lives, the school she attended, and more. Actually, we were staying in the same area of the mountain where she grew up. It was amazing!

Enjoy the pics of the Ripley's Haunted House and Ripley's Moving Theater! Be sure to ask Kelly Campbell about her experience in the haunted house. The kids love to tell you that, "SHE CRIED!"
