NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
June 14, 2023
The Board of Education of Pleasant Hill Community Unit School District #3 will hold a Public Hearing on June 14, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of Education Office, 501 East Quincy Street, Pleasant Hill, Illinois.
The purpose of said hearing is to receive public comment on a proposed waiver application and plan for improved student performance and school improvement. If the waiver application and plan are approved, the District would be permitted to apply for a waiver of the non-resident tuition requirement set forth in section 10-20.12a of the Illinois School Code (105 ILCS 5/10-20.12a). A waiver of the tuition requirement of section 10-20.12a would allow the waiving of tuition for non-resident students who are the children of full-time District staff.

The Board of Education of Pleasant Hill Community Unit School District No. 3 will hold a public hearing on the proposed amended budget for the fiscal year 2022-2023 at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in the Board of Education office at the elementary school in Pleasant Hill, Illinois. Said budget is available for inspection in the school district Board of Education office daily from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
